COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will help real estate professionals understand the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) affordable mortgage programs available to eligible Vermont homebuyers. This course will provide details about:

  • VHFA programs, benefits and eligibility;

  • How VHFA programs are structured to add special benefits Fannie, Freddie, RD, FHA, and VA loans;

  • How VHFA partners with local participating lenders (banks, credit unions, and mortgage companies);

  • Where to find more information about VHFA and other special programs to help homebuyers.
