Description

Vermont Wetlands Ecologist Shannon Morrison will describe the value of wetlands in our natural environment in terms of water quality protection, flood protection and other issues significant to property values. Participants will learn how to identify wetland characteristics, classifications, and conditions for development restrictions. Participants will understand permit requirements for site-specific conditions and will practice using the Wetland Screening Tool to map specific sites.
