Description

As a result of this course, attendees will understand exactly what DEI is and how it related to real estate. Attendees will be able to articulate the difference between equity and equality. They will learn the importance of diversity and the impact it has on our communities. They will also learn the need for inclusion. Attendees will also be able to define implicit bias and identify it in themselves. The role the media plays in our implicit biases will be discussed along with overcoming those barriers. As a result of the course attendees will be able to correlate fair housing and implicit biases. Through role playing and group discussions the course will cover implementation of implicit bias training into their business practices.
